SwitchBot launched a European retrofit entry system combining its Lock Ultra Max, Keypad Vision Pro, and a Matter-enabled Hub Mini. The company offers up to 19 entry methods across face, palm-vein, fingerprint, passcode, NFC, app, voice, wearable, geofence, and physical-key options. Biometric templates are processed and stored on the device, while three power layers preserve access as batteries run down. The Verge reports the bundle at €339.99 or £339.99 and notes that it is designed to retain the existing lock cylinder.
